SCRIPT ANALYSIS
Story of kahaani is quite new for indian audience.It is a mixture of suspense and drama.It is a story of a woman named Vidya Baagchi who is pregnant and come india to find his missing husband.Story and screenplay is written by Sujoy Ghosh.Screenplay is very fast and entertaining.Especially,the climax portion is very shocking which revealed the entire case.Dialogues of the movie,are well penned by Sujoy Ghosh and Rajesh Tyagi.Overall,script is up to the mark.
STAR PERFORMANCE
Vidya Baalan who played the role of Vidya Baagchi is the mother of the film.She lived the every sequence of the film.Her dialogue delivery made this film very unique.The other actor is Rana,who is assistant sub-inspector,given an unforgetteble performance.Indraniel Sengupta is also in good role.So,star performances are extraodinary.
DIRECTION
Sujoy Ghosh who also directed ALADIN is the captain of the ship for Kahaani.His narration style is very engaging.He has taken good performances from each actor.His direction will appeal more to city based audiences than masses.
BOX OFFICE PERDICTION
Kahaani is a low budget film and it will cover the production budget very easily.The another factor is that Vidya Baalan is now A grade actress and national award winner.It will do more business in A grade multiplexes than single screens because it has class appeal.
